About the tournament:

The majority of the tounament takes place at O'Shaughnessy Reservoir in Dublin, Ohio with a couple of outings to Hoover Reservoir near Westerville.  Tournament's are held on Saturdays.  The tournament is open to everyone, even those without boats!  At the end of the year we will hold an invitational tournament for all teams that qualify during the regular season.

  Attention Anglers:  At each tournament this year we will be holding a brief anglers meeting 15 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.  At least one team member must be present.  Failure to have a representative present from your team could result in a weight deduction at weigh in.

 

Clarification:  The optional Big Fish pot is a all or nothing deal.  For fairness to the other anglers, both team members must participate. (Can't have one team member in the pot and one opting out)

 

The 2008 schedule is now posted!!  We have got the permits from the City of Columbus.  Only a slight change the March 29th tournament has been changed to April 5th due to a conflict with in scheduling with the City of Columbus.  Can't wait to get started!

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

April 26th Results Are In!(Finally)

 Sorry it took so long to get the results posted the homelife has been a little hectic recently. Our April 26th tournament brought the largest number of anglers but the fishing and the weigh in proved tough this week.  Only 1.2 lbs seperated 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  Father-Son Team Rick and Andrew Blackmore squeaked into first place with 20.8 lbs, only 0.8 lbs over Randy Holschuh and Charles Hill's 20.0 lb basket!!  One of our other Father-Son teams nabbed 3rd place with 19.6 lbs, just 0.4 lbs shy of 2nd!  WOW!  The big fish was brought in by Shanda Roy who brought a 6.9 lb channel cat to the scales to just beat out Rick and Andrew's 6.8 lb big fish!  These were some of the closest weigh-in's we have ever seen! 

 

Again, it was great seeing the regulars as well as some of the new anglers that showed up to try their hand at the COCC tournament series!  We hope to see you all at the next tournament!  Don't forget the next tournament is going to be held at Hoover Reservoir before we return back to O'Shay!  See you soon!
